Last week I received this email from Club Monaco. I assumed it was a weekend promotion applying only to regular-priced items but little did I know. I went to my local Club Monaco and spoke with the manager. Apparently, this discount is a permanent policy at all Club Monaco locations in North America and is applicable to everything in the store at all times excluding gift cards. Needless to say, I blew over 300$ at CM this weekend. Sounds like a lot right? Reserve judgment until I have told you what I got for $300. I bought a dress, a pair of shorts, 2 scarves, 3 skirts, 2 vest coats and 2 sweaters. Yup, major danger zone for my bank account especially with the Christmas line approaching and major discounts expected at ALL retailers due to the looming recession. At the end of my mini shopping spree at Club Monaco, the manager cheekily said to me, "see you next week". I was pretty damn sure I would be at another CM location in a few days. Mwwwahahahaha! I guess these is at least one advantage to being a 28 year-old student... :P
