Upon closer examination of the images, I would like to add one more item to my want list.

Alright. All the images are out, FINALLY! My opinion of the clothes hasn't changed. I anticipated that RC would emphasize his signature animal prints for this collection and that's exactly what he did. He did manage to incorporate his animal signature into the accessories very well. I'm all over it! I don't usually like to play with accessories but these items are just crazy! I LOVE THEM! Here are my official wants. Don't calculate the $$ damage, please!

WTF pieces from Cavalli H&M:

WTF #1 - Fringed Jacket - Look, this jacket might look very good on skinny tall models. Most of H&M shoppers are not made that way. Basically: aaargh...I am not sure how nice it would look if you're bigger than size 2.



WTF #2 - Go to any neighbourhood mall in Scarborough. Morningside (is it still there?), Malvern, Cedarbrae....you will find this top for $5. Possibly two for $5.



WTF #3 - Okay, I might be hard on this particular piece. Some people might look gorgeous in it. Tall people...with long locks of flowing hair...and very nice legs....and the right make-up. But it will take effort to make this dress NOT seem like one of those $10 muumuus purchased at the above malls.

As expected, there is nothing I want to buy for myself (because I would never wear them) but there are pieces I do like and appreicate like the beaded gown.



Okay, I admit it, I love the beaded gown. I loved it the first time I saw it and I love it still whenever I see different versions of it.
~sigh~ It's just that I would never wear it.
But it's sooooooooo pretty.
Actually, I might love it more if the fringes weren't that long...



I also like this jumper (actually cardigan and shorts):




But there isn't anything particular wow about it. Kind of look like every item at Top Shop.




I also kind of like this sleeveless tuxedo dress:



It's eye catching.

Finally, the entire RC at H&M collection is available for viewing online. I have to say that this collection is for the most part a disappointing one for me. RC is just too flamboyant and blingy for my taste. Maybe there will be a few smaller items like scarves or other jewelry that might strike a chord with me that haven't been published online already. Regardless, there are still a few items I wouldn't mind adding to my closet. KitKat and MuMu, please upload your choices here too.

PS. KitKat, let's get together over some sushi/Korean to talk strategy. You are so getting everything you want from this collection! It's my last year living downtown so we better make the most of it!

Do you remember...

This blogger has posted ads that have surfaced for the RC collection. Nothing is striking me yet. I kind of like the snow leopard dress but again, I know I will look ridiculous in it. Crossing my fingers for the beaded gown or a long version of the snow leopard dress.
